A wonderful adventure that you will keep in your heart forever! It was a very special journey from the beginning. Not only did we see the true Madagascar landscape, but we were also able to get up close to the locals and get to know the culture! No matter if you are a guest at locals, camping by the campfire (thanks to Joseph for the music), climbing in the Tsingy of Bemaraha national park or snorkeling on dreamlike islands - there was something of everything! Far from mass tourism, we have been introduced to the land, animals and people in the most beautiful way! An absolute recommendation for this trip with Ecotourmada. It was all well organized, we got to know Madagascar in a very authentic way, far away from mass tourism. Mariah was steady and available to us at all times, a good hearted person.:-) the trip was an unforgettable adventure and had many highlights, here a few examples: a river tour, staying in a tent, swimming at the waterfall and watching sloths, campfire evenings, climbing through the Tsingy National Park, the Baobab Road, staying in a host family, visiting various villages, dancing with locals, boat trips to various islands with snorkeling, beautiful beaches etc. Just a great country with all its facets.

We visited Madagascar for 2 weeks with Ecotour Mada. Mariah organised the perfect itinerary for us. She was extremely responsive and did everything to ensure we had the best trip. Our driver Manantsoa was great, he was experienced, professional and taught us so much about the culture and life in Madagascar. We had a rough idea on where we want to go and what we want to see. I wrote an Email to Ecotourmada and Mariah answered quickly and in perfect English. She gave us a couple of ideas on how to get where we wanted and see what we wanted, plus checking flights and hotels along the way. Once we finalized the trip, she reserved all the hotels for us, booked the flights and organized a car with a driver. The car was in good condition and the driver was very friendly, spoke good English, was eager to learn from you and teach you a lot of Malagasy words and facts about the culture and life in Madagascar (…) EcotourMada organized two parts of our trip: The first part was a 9 day road travel from Antananarivo to Toliara down the RN7. It was a well organized trip with a couple of stops to see local manufacturing of aluminum cookware, paper and lots more. We had a day in the Ranomafana national park and another day in Isalo national park. Both parks were amazing. You always have to have a national guide to hike around national parks, the ones Mariah chose were knowledgeable, very friendly and happy to show you around their "backyard". We ended the first part with a couple of beach days in Ifaty and flew back to Tana. (…) After we flew back from Nosy Be we have done another 6 day road trip from Antananarivo to Morondava. We stayed one day in kirindy forest to see the fossa (which we did) and had a day in Morondava. In Antsirabe we met with a local lady to cook together, we went shopping in the market first and then cooked together at the home of her friend. This was one of my favorites, since you get so see and learn so much about the everyday life of malagasy people. All in all Ecotourmada was a great choice. We could ask any questions beforehand, like how to get Ariarys, how much to exchange, what to tip your driver and guides and so on. During the stay Mariah made sure we are happy and checked in with the driver regularly. The hotels were nice and had quite the high standard for Madagascar. For our flight from Toliara to Antananarivo she even booked us special food, which we were quite happy about. I would totally recommend Ecotourmada anytime.

After much research, we decided to choose ecotourmada to help us achieve the road trip we wanted to do. Mariah was very professional, we told her the places we wanted to go, she advised us and helped put everything in place. Before, as during our stay, Mariah was always attentive and above all very responsive! Our driver was great, a very good guide. We have just finished a fantastic tour with EcotourMada. Mariah was very helpful and responsive with all of our queries, and planned a trip that included the Avenue of the Baobabs, Kirindy forest, Morondava and Andasibe/Analamazaotra National Park. We only had a week but managed to maximise our time with lots of experiences. Mariah made sure everything was special for our trip! All accommodation was of a high standard, our English speaking driver was experienced and knowledgeable, and all planned excursions were great - we seen lots of wildlife and scenery. We would highly recommend visiting Madagascar with EcotourMada - we can't wait to come back and see more!

Ecotour is one the most professional tour organizers in Madagascar. I was in contact with Maria, she was so honest, fair, fast, easy to communicate with and friendly.

During our 11-day southern tour of Madagascar, we were professionally driven by a local driver who spoke very good English. Hotels and national parks are arranged in advance, with English-speaking guides. We had a great time during our trip, the car was ready to go every morning, nicely cleaned inside and out. All our extra wishes were fulfilled (visiting a winery, buying rum, etc.) overall, I strongly recommend it to everyone! The driver not only drove a car, but also introduced us to the rich history of Madagascar, talked about the customs of the tribes living on the island, and showed us the real Malagasy life. We felt safe with him the whole time, thanks Fitia!!! If I were to travel to Madagascar again, I would definitely choose EcotourMada!

Just finished an amazing two week trip with Eco Tour Mada. Mariah was super helpful in planning an itinerary that suited me, enabled me to see everything I wanted and was in my budget (not easy as a solo traveller). I spent a week trying to book my own trip in Madagascar without any success. It's a tricky place. So I dropped a last-minute, vaguely defined request to EcoTour Mada and am very pleased with the experience. Some stuff was sold out, some prices were a little high, but I think that was mostly my fault for waiting until literally two days before I would arrive in Antananarivo. Mariah was responsive and helpful and made great suggestions. When we ran into some snafus, she fixed them immediately and provided me with attractive alternatives. I saw lemurs, I relaxed on beaches, I hiked, I ate well, and got city tours too. Good stuff. I'd never have made an itinerary even half as good, on my own.

During our stay in Madagascar, we saw lemurs at Kirindy forest, hiked in the Tsingy of Bemaraha national park and enjoyed sunset at the marvelous Baobab Avenue. The roads was hard to drive on but we were told about it by the agency, so all good! Our driver was also top notch. Many thanks to EcotourMada for the organization of our family trip in Madagascar
